We hope that residents in Highworth Avenue and Hurst Park Avenue will by now have received the letter below from the County Council informing them of nighttime resurfacing work due to take place in our neighbourhood next week. All works will take place between 8pm and 6am.
On Monday 23 September, Milton Road will be resurfaced between Herbert Street and Hurst Park Avenue, and Milton Road will therefore be closed to all motor traffic. Access to Hurst Park Avenue will be maintained for residents. On Tuesday 24 September, the junction of Hurst Park Avenue itself will be resurfaced, as will the intersection between Highworth Avenue and Leys Road. Milton Road will also be closed to motor traffic between Arbury Road and the Elizabeth Way roundabout.
