The works on Milton Road rumble on. The works on the main roundabout are almost finished, and now we are expecting works to begin first at the junction with Ascham Road, and then (they say in 6-8 weeks) at the bottom of Hurst Park Avenue. This will involve closing the junction, at least for some of the time; vehicle access to the estate will be via Leys Road only during this time. We are pushing for parking to be temporarily suspended at the end of Leys Road towards the junction with Arbury Road and on Arbury Road itself near the junction while the works are taking place. We feel this will improve visibility and safety, but we have not yet heard if this will be possible.
